Hello, I’m Amanda, a certified Tai Chi and Qigong instructor based in Formby.

I’ve been practising Tai Chi since my early 20s, and I love helping people discover how Tai Chi and Qigong can support wellbeing, relaxation, and balance at any age.

In 2021 I trained as an instructor with the Deyin Taijiquan Institute. I teach Yang Style Tai Chi and am qualified to teach the following forms:

  • Yang 8 Step

  • Yang 16 Step

  • Yang 24 Step

  • Yang 16 Step Sword

  • Sun Style 13 Step

I am also qualified through the British Health Qigong Association (BHQA) to teach the following Health Qigong sets:

  • Traditional 8 Treasures (Ba Duan Jin)

  • Ming Mu Gong – Eye Brightening Exercise

  • Ma Wang Dui

In addition, I am qualified through the Tai Chi, Qigong and Feng Shui Institute to teach:

  • 18 Taichi Qigong Shibashi

My aim is to create relaxed, friendly classes where people can enjoy gentle movement, improve balance and mobility, and experience the calming, restorative benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong.

If you’d like to learn more, I’d be very happy to arrange a free introductory session or answer any questions.
